Oasis boss and M&S director to become honorary GCU professors

Oasis and Warehouse chief executive Liz Evans and Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, Marks & Spencer executive director for customer, marketing and M&, will both be appointed honorary professors of Glasgow Caledonian University on Wednesday (June 22). 

Professor Christopher Moore, GCU’s British School of Fashion director and assistant vice principal, will present Evans and Bousquet-Chavanne with lifetime achievement awards at a special ceremony at Christ Church, Spitalfields in London.

The event will also celebrate the graduation of GCU London students in postgraduate courses including digital fashion strategy, fashion business creation, international fashion marketing and luxury brand management. 

The GCU Alumnus of the Year will go to Erica Charles, who graduated with an MSc in fashion marketing and promotion and is now a brand marketing consultant with more than 18 years’ experience in international fashion.
