Oasis launches Glasgow flagship

Oasis opened a flagship store at Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow this week (June 5).

The refurbished 1,980 sq ft store features a new ‘House of Oasis’ concept with a pink aspect glass frontage and vinyl application.

Oasis will join over 90 other retailers in Buchanan Galleries including Phase Eight, River Island, Warehouse, Mango and H&M.

Ahead of the launch, Oasis held a fashion show of its summer collection at The Lighthouse, Scotland’s national centre for design and architecture, with proceeds of ticket sales going to the Glasgow School of Art restoration.

Liz Evans, chief executive of Oasis, said: “It is a hugely important, iconic building for Glasgow.”

Buchanan Galleries is owned by Buchanan Partnership, a joint venture between Henderson Global Investors and Land Securities. The centre is managed by Savills.
