Office launches Oxford Street East store

Office is the latest retailer to open its doors on the East side of Oxford Street.

The footwear retailer is launching its flagship store at 47-49 Oxford Street this week (August 1).

The 1,549 sq ft store, Office’s 99th, has been designed around  new concept and will feature brands such as Converse, Nike, Underground Creepers, Dr Martens and Jeffrey Campbell as well as its own brand range.

To celebrate the new store, the retailer will be giving away goody bags with treats from Label M, Dermalogica and Models Own to the first 50 customers.

A second event will take place on August 31, with an illustration booth for customers to have their fashion portrait taken.  Artists will sketch customers wearing their favourite pair of Office shoes from the new autumn collection and then upload the sketches to the retailer’s Facebook account.

The opening comes as part of a wider regeneration of the East side of Oxford Street, ahead of the Crossrail development due to be completed in 2018.

Primark opened its store at 14-28 Oxford Street last autumn, and Zara is set to open its fifth store on the road at numbers 61-65.
