The new-look shop, opening on March 7, will have a bigger retail area and will feature the full Oliver Sweeney footwear range, as well as clothing and accessories. The decor is modelled on a contemporary gentlemen’s club, complete with timber floors and Vitsoe shelving units.

Tim Cooper, managing director of Oliver Sweeney, said: “The Oliver Sweeney approach of blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design has always resonated with the people of Leeds. After a tremendously successful decade in the Victoria Quarter, I’m thrilled to be building on this, and I can’t think of a better way of doing that than to create our first northern flagship in the city.”
