Ollie & Nic opens first outlet store at Gloucester Quays

Accessories retailer Ollie & Nic has opened its first UK outlet store at Gloucester Quays.

The brand signed a five-year lease on the 539 sq ft unit in the centre, which is owned by the Peel Group. It will sit alongside high street and designer brands including M&S Outlet, Ghost, Next Clearance, Osprey, White Stuff, GAP Outlet, The White Company, Calvin Klein Jeans, Austin Reed and Paul Costelloe.

Ollie & Nic now has stores in Westfield Stratford, Cardiff, Glasgow, Brighton and Chester.

Managing director Mark Vandenberghe said: “Since we launched in 2003 we have expanded our handbag and accessories business through our own stores and through concessions and now was the right time to develop the outlet strand of our business.

“Gloucester Quays is growing as a destination and we’re pleased to be part of that growth.”

The move follows the announcment earlier this month that the label is launching in House of Fraser stores for autumn 13 as it moves back into wholesale after a five year break.
