Olymp appoints new head of design

Menswear brand Olymp Bezner has appointed Lasse Holger Mitterhusen as its new head of design for its business segment.

Mitterhusen was previously head of creative management for Boss Orange menswear before joining German menswear company Baldessarini GmbH & Co in 2014 as creative director.

As of 1 January 2020, he will replace creative director Georg H. Füth who will remain with the menswear company in a consultative capacity before he retires in 2021.

Olymp has also appointed Reinhard Hölscher as head of design for the casual and smart-business segment. He joins from Gerry Weber-owned brand Samoon.

Olymp’s CEO, Mark Bezner, said: “Georg H. Füth has given the Olymp brand its fashion identity and helped provide it with a distinct collection identity. But with Lasse Holger Mitterhusen we’ve found a proven expert in the field of men’s fashion who’ll be just as able to handle this important job going forward.”
