Jewellery at accessories show Pulse went to town on colour, with natural fabrics providing the backdrop on bags


This is the first UK presentation for Scottish designer Lynsey Walters' kitsch collection of colourful jewellery and scarves. The range features fabric button pins and necklaces, and felt colour-studded scarves in black and white. Motifs include kittens and strawberries, which provide cute pieces for kids or eccentric jewellery for adults. Prices from £3 to £100.

This Canadian hat and decorative hairpiece brand offers styles suitable for women of all ages, as well as a range for men adorned with sequins and beads. Of particular interest are lace, tulle and satin hair accessories and feather and flower fascinators - all of which are perfect for weddings. Also featured are fabric trilby-style hats, with photographic or snakeskin prints and figurine motifs. Felt, flower and feather details appear throughout. Prices from £8 to £40.

German designer Petra Meiren has been creating silver- and gold-plated statement jewellery for the past 15 years. This season's pieces are accented with Swarovski crystals and also feature PVC cufflinks and chunky silver pearls. The collection is already stocked in John Lewis and out-of-London Fenwick stores. Part of accessories brand Torba, Bags not War is new this season, and is riding on the wave of publicity that followed the launch of Anya Hindmarch's I'm Not a Plastic Bag tote. With eight sequinned slogan designs and colours, these reusable, canvas totes have attracted attention from Harrods, with the signature Bags not War option proving particularly popular.
