Online dress rental service launches

A new online luxury dress rental business has launched, outlining aims to make high fashion more accessible to female shoppers.

The company, called Hire That Look, is based in the North West. It was founded by husband-and-wife team Alainnah and Mark Joyce.

Its offering includes dresses from designer brands Marchesa and Victoria Beckham, contemporary womenswear label Morv London and luxury womenswear brand Halston Heritage.

Rental prices range from £39 for a True Decadence black mesh mini-dress to a £189 Marchesa navy fringed gown.

Alainnah Joyce said: “We’ve spent months ensuring the whole experience [has a luxury feel], right down to our packaging.

“Our values are all about empowering women and making luxury fashion accessible – every woman should get to wear what she wants, when she wants.”

  • Women do this all the time, for free. It's called buy, wear and return.
