Online shopping complaints jump 84%

Consumer complaints over online shopping services and package deliveries have rocketed over the past year.

Figures from the online shopping complaints tracker Resolver, reported in The Daily Mail, show that complaints regarding online shopping rose by 84% in 2018, compared to 2017.

Reasons for the complaints included delivery issues, poor product quality and issues with refunds.

Additionally, overall complaints about package deliveries rose by 203% and high street shopping complaints rose by 39%.

  • Unsurprising results, but the younger generation will place convenience above poor service. It is a price worth paying in their eyes.
