Orlebar Brown is looking to expand overseas, following the recent appointment of Paul Donoghue as global commercial director.
Donoghue, who was formerly commercial director at Radley, is to join the British designer swimwear label from September 30.
He will be responsible for all global web, retail and wholesale sales, with a particular focus on exploring overseas revenue channels.
The brand launched its first-ever womenswear capsule collection in June, and is set to open a new office, showroom and store in New York this autumn. Luxury fashion recruitment agency Hudson Walker International oversaw Donoghue’s appointment.
Adam Brown, founder of Orlebar Brown, said: “It is an exciting time for Orlebar Brown. Sales continue to grow by over 50% year-on-year and we are continuing to expand into new territories.
“We are delighted to welcome Paul to the team, as global commercial director to lead on growth and new initiatives for the next phase of the OB journey.”
Radley has said no replacement for Donoghue will be appointed as it shakes up its senior management team. Chief executive Xavier Simonet has instead confirmed plans to promote a number of internal team members to newly-created roles.
