Swedish brand to open Soho womenswear store

Swedish fashion brand Our Legacy is expected to open its first UK womenswear store this year, in response to popular “demand”.

It will set up shop at 2 Silver Place, next door to its existing menswear store at 1 Silver Place in Soho.

Our Legacy womenswear joins Swedish brands Sandqvist, Nudie Jeans and Axel Arigato, which are already trading in Soho.

In 2014, Our Legacy opened its first international store in London after wholesaling through UK retailers including Liberty, The Content Store and etailer The Great Divide.

It was founded in 2005 by Christopher Nying and Jockum Hallin, who started the business out of a studio in Stockholm selling printed T-shirts. In 2007, the first full collection was released. The first store opened in 2008 in Stockholm’s Södermalm district.

It now is now stocked in around 240 multi-brand stores worldwide, including in the US, Japan and South Korea.
