Overland wins licence for G.H. Bass Shoes in Europe

British footwear distributor Overland has signed a deal with US licencing group G-III Apparel Group to sell G.H. Bass Shoes in Europe.

Overland, which is also the global footwear licensee for G-Star Raw, will now sell men’s, women’s and children’s G.H. Bass footwear in Europe.

A separate agreement allows Overland to open retail stores for the brand in Europe.

Morris Goldfarb, chairman, chief executive and president of G-III,  which also owns the licenses for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Jones New York, said: “Overland’s vast experience gives us a strong foundation as we take advantage of opportunities to grow G.H. Bass in these important markets.”

Stephen Palmer, chairman, and chief executive of Overland, said they will build the G.H. Bass brand into a “global franchise”.
