World Design & Trade [WDT] chief executive Pan Philippou is to step down from the business, which owns the Firetrap, Fullcircle and Sonetti brands, on September 4.
WDT founder and chairman Asbed Momdjian will take over Philippou’s responsibilities.
Philippou joined WDT from Diesel North America almost two years ago. He set about building a new management team and began repositioning WDT’s portfolio of brands to ensure they were clearly differentiated from each other. He also began developing a bigger scale international business for the company.
WDT said in a statement: “Since joining the business in September 2007, Pan has lead the business through a time of considerable change and made a significant contribution to the development of the brands and the culture of the business.”
“We would like to take the opportunity to thank Pan for his valuable contribution during his time with us and we wish him well in his future career.”
