Paris Men's Fashion Week: Grey Days

After grey tailoring dominated the Milan men’s catwalks, it remained an important influence in Paris last week, appearing on the runways of Jean Paul Gaultier, Yohji Yamamoto, Gaspard Yurkievich and Dries Van Noten.

But this time round it was diluted with more smoky brown and inky blue styles, while black underlined the sombre mood and was favoured by the likes of Kriss Van Assche, Raf Simons, Givenchy and John Galliano. The silhouette also underlined the slim line look that gripped Milan for autumn 09.

See next week’s Drapers for a full report on the men’s catwalks in Paris.
