Parisian lingerie show vies for more visitors

Parisian lingerie show Salon International de la Lingerie has unveiled a new layout and dateline for autumn 09 in a bid to lure more international visitors.

The show will be split into five sections for next season: Be Essentials for lingerie, corsetry and hosiery; Be Chic for designer lingerie brands; Be Spicy for young designers, Be Lounging for lounge and homewear; and Be Men for men’s underwear.

There will also be a showroom village for exhibitors keen to offer a more private experience to potential buyers.

Salon International de la Lingerie is usually held at the same time as Parisian ready-to-wear shows Prêt à Porter and Who’s Next for autumn.

However, for autumn 09 it will run 10 days earlier from January 18-21, to enable it to keep its Pavillion 1 location at the Porte de Versailles. For more details, visit, or call 020 8216 3100.
