Pavers launches charity foundation

Footwear retailer Pavers has launched a charitable trust that will allow employees to apply for grants for local, regional and national causes.

The new Pavers Foundation has been established with £2.5m in donations supplied from the business and the Pavers family to support charitable work.

The foundation will allow any of Pavers’ 1,700 employees to apply for grants relating to health, education, or community in their local area.

Pavers will also be contributing a percentage of its annual profits to the Foundation on an annual basis.

Stuart Paver, managing director at Pavers, said: “As a family, we wanted to share our success by helping causes that are personal to us, as well as those that matter to our colleagues, who work so hard every day. The Pavers Foundation allows everyone from all regions and areas of the business to get involved.”
