Pearl Lowe’s second coming at Peacocks

Value chain Peacocks has unveiled its second collection designed in collaboration with Pearl Lowe for spring 10.

The range includes vintage-inspired tea dresses and accessories priced from £14 to £35. It will be available in stores from Sunday. This week, Peacocks chief executive Richard Kirk said he was “on the verge of signing a concession deal”, understood to be with grocer Morrisons.

  • This range has attracted a lot of customers to Peacocks and helped with online sales. The second range looks like it could be another winner for Peacocks and helps with their marketing, which has been lacking a bit in previous seasons.

  • “on the verge of signing a concession deal"
Given that they have already interviewed for management of the first Morrisons concession it seems odd that the deal isn't signed yet if it is this.
