People Tree tees up Farrar Collection

Ethical brand People Tree has produced a short-order capsule collection in collaboration with designer Simeon Farrar, who is known for his quirky slogan T-shirts under his own label Black Score.

The capsule collection has already been picked up by Asos and is available to order now, with wholesale prices ranging from £22 for a T-shirt to £39.60 for a fleece sweatshirt.

The range includes sketches of animals with cheeky captions such as ‘Didn’t need the icecaps anyway, douchebag’.

Farrar said: “I like the idea of all these individual animals who had been wronged by man, in their own special way, forming a posse and coming to us and saying ‘this will not stand anymore.’

“I have known about People Tree for a long time and I really like everything they stand for, so to be approached by them to do this was fantastic for me. What’s nice about the collaboration is that Black Score fans will be educated about where the clothes have come from, about organic cotton and everything People Tree stands for.”
