Perry Ellis appoints European managing director

Clothing group Perry Ellis Europe, which owns brands including Farah and Original Penguin, has appointed Elliot Brown as European managing director.

Brown joins from Wolverine Worldwide, where he was vice president and general manager of heritage brands for the EMEA region. He replaces Francisco Hoffmann.

At Perry Ellis Europe, Brown will be responsible for overseeing Original Penguin, Farah and Callaway, reporting to president of international development and global licensing Stanley Silverstein.

Brown was previously UK sales manager of Barbour from 2008 to 2012 and UK managing director of Converse from 2005 until 2008.
