Philip Lim opens first UK store

Designer label Philip Lim is plotting further UK expansion after opening its first UK store last week.

The 3,200 sq ft store at 91 Pelham Street houses the brand’s womenswear, menswear and accessories collections.

The brand is working with luxury retail company Club 21 to expand its UK presence and the strategy will see the opening of multiple stores in the UK. A second location is set to be announced early next year.

Also this month luxury label Carven opened its first UK store with a shop at 85 Pelham Street in a joint venture with Club 21.

Carven and Philip Lim’s neighbouring retailers include Chanel and Stella McCartney, plus Acne, which opened a store on the road in July this year.

Savills acted for The South Kensington Estate, which manages and develops a number of properties on Pelham Street.
