Prêt à Portèr's contemporary womenswear exhibition Atmosphère swung open its doors in Paris this morning with a predictable mix of trends.
Grey continues to dominate rails with highlights of purple and a smattering of shocking pink.
Midnight blues are also present alongside texture-rich chunky knits, pleating, pintucked details, tweeds and a variety of prints from naive art looks to repeat florals. Jewel embellished collar details and all-over sequins in sheer chiffons, characterised the ever increasing number of cocktail dresses on show.
First time exhibitor Sarah Arnett, whose stand was part of the prize of her UK Fashion Export award, said: "This is the first time we have had the opportunity to show our collection so early. It gives us an opportunity to listen to buyer feedback and actually make changes to samples before the end of the selling season. Plus we have already seen some buyers from Italy. Hopefully this will be a great opportunity to generate interest from more commercially minded buyers."
