Each season, this international show of clothing fabrics brings together key textile-industry players - brands, designers and buyers - thanks to an ever more qualitative and comprehensive offer from rigorously selected weaver-exhibitors.
Within Première Vision Pluriel, the group of six trade shows which Première Vision belongs to - Expofil (the international show of yarns and fibres), Indigo (the Creative Textile & Surface Design Show), Modamont (The international trimmings and components show for fashion and design), Cuir à Paris (the leather and fur show) and Zoom (the trade show for manufacturing specialists) - Première Vision proves that, in spite of the volatile economic context, it continues to meet the needs of the sector and global markets.
Resolutely international, with 73% foreign visitors, the Paris shows have been affirming their undisputed leadership with each edition.
The latest edition of Première Vision Pluriel gathered about 63 000 visitors along 3 exciting days attracting - Première Vision itself got 58 000 visitors.
These results confirm the strength and dynamism of the shows, and forecast success for their upcoming edition next 18 - 20 February 2014 in Parc d’Expositions Paris Nord - Villepinte, France.
Among the developments set up by Première Vision to improve its offer, the show launched Knitwear Solutions in September 2012.
This area, dedicated to creative flatbed knits can now be assessed over three sessions, and has demonstrated its effectiveness in terms of the offer’s creativity and synergy and Première Vision’s core business.
Last edition of Knitwear Solutions gathered some 50 exhibitors, which were completed by the 15 studios specialised in knits at Indigo. The offer came to 65 knitwear specialists.
In the South of Hall 6, the next February 2014 edition will present exhibitors -knitters and spinners- who will complete the offer of Première Vision and will bring concrete solutions to designers, product managers and buyers specialized in flatbed knit -they were nearly 3000 there last September. Among them, they will be 4 to invest for the first time the aisles of the platform. They will present their latest developments for Spring/Summer 15 - a season always less consumer of knits- and their update proposals for Fall/Winter 1415 too.
Within the Knitwear Solutions platform, the Knitwear Focus forum will be showcasing the latest developments for the spring summer 15 season under the direction of designer Xavier Brisoux. The goal is to show some of the technical aspects of the sector and to provide inspiration to visitors through a selection of exhibitors’ samples.
