Berlin trade show Premium has announced it will expand next season, increasing its exhibition space by 17%, while neighbouring show Seek will move to a new, bigger venue.
Taking place from January 19-21, Premium is challenging Bread & Butter by taking more than 290,625 sq ft at the five-level Kühlhaus venue. This includes the space that was previously occupied by sister trade show Seek. Premium will host almost 1,800 brands.
Capitalising on the cancellation of Capsule Berlin, the premium streetwear show Seek will move to a new 64, 583 sq ft river-side location called Berlin Arena, almost tripling its show space.
Anita Tillman, chief executive of Premium Exhibitions, said: “With the expansion, Premium meets the needs of the industry. We are constantly observing and analysing the market and we are in constant dialogue with brands and retailers. We are very conscious of our role as a market place. That is the reason why we are curating the brand portfolio every season and we take great care that the right partners get together at Premium.”
