Priceless and Kate Kuba pair up

Value footwear chain Priceless has joined forces with footwear mini chain Kate Kuba to boost its fashion credentials and raise its exit price point by 130%.
Kate Kuba has lent its name and design skills to Priceless to produce an 11-style collection called Priceless – Inspired by Kate Kuba. Shoes will retail for about £30, which is considerably higher than Priceless’s existing highest price point of £13, but well below Kate Kuba’s own label, where a wedge typically sells for £85.

Priceless retail director Ron Stark said the styling of the range would be similar to Kate Kuba’s mainline.

Stark and Kate Kuba managing director Costas Constantiou decided to work together after meeting on the judging panel for the Drapers Footwear Awards earlier this year. “The partnership will continue for the foreseeable future – as long as Cos and I are still talking,” quipped Stark.

The range will go into 75 Priceless stores. The retailer has 203 UK stores and Kate Kuba has eight shops, mostly around London.
