Primark continued its expansion in the US this week with the opening of stores in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, bringing its total in the country to five.
The value fashion retailer opened a 50,700 sq ft store at the Freehold Raceway Mall in New Jersey last Saturday, before cutting the ribbon on a 58,600 sq ft unit in the the Willow Grove Park Mall in Pennsylvania yesterday.
The stores feature “trend rooms”, highlighting the latest styles, and “recharge” cafes.
Primark intends to open in another five locations in the near future, in Burlington and Braintree in Massachusetts, East Rutherford in New Jersey, and Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York. The first opened in Boston last September.
