Primark owner ‘hunts for new chairman’

Primark’s owner Associated British Foods (ABF) is on the lookout for a new chairman, it has been reported.

The firm has lined up headhunter Spencer Stuart to appoint a successor for Charles Sinclair, who has led the company for eight years, said Sky News.

The news service said it was unclear how advanced ABF’s search is‎.

An ABF spokesman declined to comment.
