Primark to launch Dutch distribution centre

Primark has signed a 10-year lease for one of the largest logistics sites in The Netherlands to fuel the retailer’s growing presence in Europe.

The 16-hectare site in Borchwerf Business Park will be developed by Logistics Capital Partners, with work starting immediately. The first phase of building spans 600,000 sq ft and will be finished by the middle of next year.

The Borchwerf Business Park is also occupied by retailers including Calvin Klein.

In mainland Europe Primark has shops in France, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
