Sportswear brand Puma has opened an outlet store at Gloucester Quays Outlet Centre to coincide with the start of the 2012 Olympics.
The 2,800 sq ft store will sell Puma’s range of sports and lifestyle clothing and brings the total number of retailers at Gloucester Quays to 60.
“We’re delighted that Puma is joining us and we believe that this signals the increased confidence that household-name brands have in Gloucester Quays,” said Adrian Wright leasing director at Gloucester Quays.
Gloucester Quays reported a 20% increase in footfall for the 52 weeks to July 22 compared to the previous year.
It is hoped that Puma’s sponsorship of Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt will also drive footfall to the new store.
