Puma has appointed Torsten Hochstetter as the sportswear brand’s global creative director.

Hochstetter will take up the newly created position from today (July 15) and report to the brand’s chief executive officer Björn Gulden.

Before joining Puma, Hochstetter was creative director at sportswear company O’Neill. Prior to that, he worked for Adidas in Germany, the U.S. and Japan.

In his new role Hochstetter will be responsible for designing, creating and developing the performance and lifestyle collections of the brand, including footwear, apparel and accessories. He will work with all of Puma’s respective design teams worldwide.

Gulden called Hochstetter “a proven expert in the sporting goods and fashion design industry”. He added: “I am pleased that with Torsten we have a long-standing design expert coming onboard Puma bringing extensive experience and know-how to our company.”
