Esino focuses on young party shoes for the mid-market. Crossover peep toes with spotted prints stand out, as do Perspex heels with rose detailing. Esino also distributes Lazy Joes, which showed woven wedges, espadrilles and jewelled flip-flops, and Valentina Russo, which added sparkle with silver on plaited wedge bases. Lisa Kay

Cut-away heels and metallics are big news at Lisa Kay. Silver, gold, bronze and copper feature as block metallics or are pearlised on a wooden base, and styles are either flat or come with skyscraper heels. Riva shoes

Riva's signature for spring is its extensive range of bright ballerina pumps and flats, which come in yellow, blue, orange and green in both patent and matte options. Angeline Tournier

A former City lawyer, Angeline Tournier retrained at Cordwainers at the London College of Fashion and launched her label last year. Traditionally known for its stacked-heel styles and use of black, TUK is showing a more sophisticated side next season with high-end shoes known as TUK Top Shelf. French sole

Ballet flats are the mainstay of French Sole, but there are innovative new takes on the staple style for spring 08. Terry de Havilland

Metallics feature heavily in Terry De Havilland's spring 08 collection. Ruby & Ed

There are plenty of wearable pieces in Ruby & Ed's range, which focuses on comfortable slipper styles. Young fashion brand Sugar concentrates on colour and print, with ethnic cowgirl boots and small wedge heels with bright canvas uppers. New for spring 08 is Sugar's patented flip flap, which claims to be more comfortable than traditional flip-flops thanks to a wider base and cushioned sole. Quality fabrications in neutral colours are key to Last's spring 08 range. Blue suede wedges and orange cut-out flats with button details stand out, as do wooden-heeled styles with vegetable-tanned buffalo leather uppers. The Art Company

The Art Company focuses on casual styles, including a wide selection of trainers and pumps. The Biotextile range includes a chunky white skater style with embroidered flowers in cotton and leather, and a candy-striped lace-up pump. Red flower motifs feature throughout, with suede and leather used in tone-on-tone detailing. Wedge styles also feature and come with button details and the company's signature flower print. Emotion concentrates on trend-led footwear in wider foot and calf fittings. Ugly Duckling

Ugly Duckling matches kitsch and quirky styling with more neutral looks to appeal to a diverse youth market. Spring 08 marks the third collection for the brand, which focuses on leather and canvas printed styles. Young women's footwear brand Morgan's party range is in full swing for spring, with the spotlight on sparkly wedges, strappy metallic courts and sandals with big gems. Founded in the 1960s, footwear brand Vagabond offers a selection of everyday pump styles with an unusual twist, including a pale gold shoe with silver button effect and black swirled flower lining. A faint pink leather pump with a gold sparkly elastic strap also cuts a dash in the spring 08 collection. Jewelled T-bars on chocolate leather soles, ivory sequinned flip-flops and metallic leather styles are key for this French brand's spring offer.
