Trade show Pure London has announced plans for a new denim area at the upcoming spring 19 edition.
The dedicated denim area will showcase leading brands and alternative ways to make denim more sustainable.
Brands exhibiting include the UK’s YKK, Abbigliamento G&G from Italy, Doumas Bro from Greece, Pakistan’s Master Textile, DE-Nim from Turkey as well as four brands from China and two from Mauritius.
The show is also launching a new fabric trend area in collaboration with Coloro and WGSN spotlighting future trends.
Julie Driscoll, managing director of Pure London said: “We are excited to launch the denim and fabric trend areas and continue to drive our industry towards a more sustainable and ethical future by helping provide sustainable product solutions to industry decision makers.
“Following in depth market research it became evident that the biggest challenges in garment sourcing is the integration between sustainability and speed to market, supply-chain transparency and fabric and technological innovation.”
The show, which takes place from 22 to 24 July at London’s Olympia, will also feature a new conscious area and new kidswear area.
Last month Pure London announced plans to include a bursary scheme for Made in Britain brands at the upcoming spring 19 edition.
