Dame Zandra Rhodes will present a retrospective of her more than 50-year career in fashion at Pure London on Monday, February 9.
Renowned for her eclectic, colourful prints and decadent accessories, the British designer’s portfolio includes bespoke pieces, couture collections and numerous collaborations, the latest of which is a capsule collection for ethical label People Tree.
In an interview with Drapers editorial director Eric Musgrave, Rhodes will share her career highlights on stage at Pure, as well as previewing her spring 15 collection. She will also share her views on today’s fashion industry.
She joins a line-up of more than 30 speakers on the seminar programme for Pure, which takes place from February 8-10 at London Olympia.
Deryane Tadd, owner of Drapers Award-winning independent The Dressing Room in St Albans, will take to the stage on Monday, February 9 at 1.50pm to share her experiences of retailing.
Fashion trend forecaster WGSN will host a Buyers’ Briefing each morning, examining the key looks, colours, shapes and fabrics that will be big for autumn.
