Pure to debut ethical area

Contemporary womenswear trade show Pure is launching a fashion-led ethical section for its autumn 09 edition.

Sponsored by ethical accessories supplier Made and supported by the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF), Ethical Pure will be split into two areas.

The ground floor will host women’s ready-to-wear brands including ethnic brand Komodo and French brand Ideo, while the first floor will be dedicated to ethical footwear and accessories brands, with handbag brand Makki and accessories labels Artisan Life and Littlearth already signed up.

Free ethical seminars in conjunction with the EFF will also take place in the seminar lounge at Pure throughout the three-day event, and catwalk presentations will feature an ethical brand segment.

The autumn 09 edition of Pure takes place on February 8-10 at Olympia in west London. For more information visit www.purewomenswear.co.uk.
