Quiz eyes £200m IPO

Fast fashion womenswear chain Quiz is reportedly eyeing a £200m float this summer.

The Glasgow-based retailer has hired advisors from Panmure Gordon to explore options for the business, which include listing on the London stock exchange, The Telegraph has reported.

A spokeswoman for Quiz said: “Quiz is a fast growing brand with a number of very exciting growth opportunities. We will always consider all options to deliver the brand’s full and exciting potential.”

Quiz has more than 300 stores and concessions worldwide. Sales at the retailer rose 11.8% to £87.4m for the year to 31 March 2016, while its pre-tax profit grew by 17% to £5.7m.
