According to Bloomberg, Exponent Private Equity is in early discussions and is targeting Asian investors as part of a strategy to expand the brand outside of the UK.

The brand could be worth as much as £200m, people close to the situation told the news company.

Exponent acquired Radley in 2007 for £130m from Phoenix Equity Partners.

Radley increased turnover 13% to £38.5m for the full-year to April 30 and made a pre-tax profit of £1.1m, compared with a pre-tax loss of £1.7m the previous year.

The company has 33 retail outlets, 39 concessions and a website which sells to 47 countries.
