Ralph Lauren womenswear sales boss exits for Escada

Ralph Lauren’s vice president of sales for womenswear brands, apparel and accessories, Francoise Rousseau, has left the business after 20 years to join Escada as vice president of wholesale.

Rousseau held a series of positions during her tenure at Ralph Lauren, including sales director for Germany and vice president of sales for the group’s premium lifestyle brand Club Monaco.

At Escada, Rousseau will report into chief executive Iris Epple-Righi and will be responsible for growing the wholesale business.

As previously reported by Drapers, Ralph Lauren president and chief executive Stefan Larsson is to leave the company in May, after a dispute with founder Ralph Lauren on the future direction of the business.
