London’s Regent Street has launched a bespoke social media hub, drawing in conversations about the street’s shops and restaurants across a wide range of networks.
The hub, called 24/7, picks on up comments made on platforms such as as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, SoundCloud and YouTube, bringing them together in a single online location to encourage retailers and restaurateurs to respond in real time. Users must sign into 24/7 to integrate their accounts.
Liberty London, Reiss, Hollister and Gilly Hicks, Superdry, Ted Baker and Anthropologie are among the retailers to have signed up to 24/7, and conversations will take place around a variety of hashtags including #RegentStreet.
The head of Regent Street portfolio at the Crown Estate, David Shaw, said the initiative offered shoppers “a new way of engaging and enjoying their Regent Street experience.”
The hub can be accessed at http://www.regentstreetonline.com.
