Relocation rumours for LFW

London Fashion Week (LFW) is understood to be moving from its location at the Natural History Museum in South West London to Somerset House in September.

A spokeswoman for the British Fashion Council, which runs London Fashion Week, declined to comment on the speculation around a relocation to Somerset House near The Strand, but confirmed the event had been looking for a new and more central London location.

London Fashion Week will take place from February 20-24 for the autumn 09 collections and September 18-22 for the spring 2010 season.

The Exhibition at London Fashion Week will run from Saturday until Tuesday during both sets of dates.

For this month’s event, there will be one day overlap with New York Fashion Week as the fashion capitals re-adjust their scheduling to accommodate a shift in dates.
