Remus Uomo to open first English store

Menswear brand Remus Uomo is to launch its first standalone store in England this week.

The 800 sq ft store on Bridlesmith Gate in Nottingham will stock formal and casualwear when it opens this Friday (17 November).

Retail prices will range from £45 for shirts to around £350 for suits. The shop will have six permanent staff.

Ben Taylor, director at property agency Innes England, managed the letting. He said: “Nottingham has a great reputation for premium brands and I’m sure people will respond well to Remus Uomo’s mix of formal, casual and smart casual fashion.”

Remus Uomo has stores in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin, and than 300 stockists across the UK and Ireland. It was founded in 1991.
