Replay owner's revenue hits €230m

Denim brand Replay’s owner, Fashion Box, has revealed that revenue hit €230m (£203m) in 2017, driven by a strong performance across northern and eastern Europe.

The group did not provide comparative figures, but said EBITDA was €18m (£15.8m) for the year and it now expects full-year revenue for 2018 to reach €245m (£216m).

Fashion Box CEO, Matteo Sinigaglia, said: “I am very happy that we are finally beginning to reap the rewards of all the hard work we have done. This growth set us on a new trajectory with forecast revenues for 2018 of €245m. The growth we have witnessed, which must remain sound and steady, has an impact on all the markets and product sectors in which we operate.”

The group said it saw double-digit growth year on year in Japan, where it has 14 standalone stores. Fashion Box opened its first store in the Ukraine in 2017, as well as three stores in Brazil. Further stores in Brazil and Macedonia will open this year.

Replay now has 111 standalone stores around the world, as well as 136 shop-in-shops.
