Young fashion retailer Republic has restructured its senior management team with joint-founder Carl Brewins taking on a new role as the business prepares for expansion.
The Leeds-based retailer plans to double its sales of £200m over the next three years and will open 12 new stores this year.
Brewins has taken up the newly created position of brand director and is charged with driving Republic’s brand awareness as the 97-store chain looks to open 11 stores in the UK - and its first store in Northern Ireland - this year. He will also oversee a new marketing strategy as Republic prepares to advertise for the first time later this year.
“This is about putting in a clear structure to develop the business,” said Brewins.
Joint-brand manager Guy Daltry has been promoted to director of buying and merchandising while Nick Preston will continue in his role as brand manager.
Republic is recruiting for the new roles of head of menswear, head of design and head of merchandising.
