Rigby & Peller to reopen Knightsbridge store

Luxury lingerie retailer Rigby & Peller will reopen its flagship in London’s Knightsbridge on Thursday with a dedicated made-to-measure area and a 3D mirror.

The 1,650 sq ft store at 2 Hans Road has been closed for six weeks for refurbishment.

The two-floor store has been updated to feature a luxurious, yet contemporary look and features six fitting rooms, a private shopping area and a 3D mirror that features body-scanning technology.

The mirror records over 140 measurements in less than a minute to determine body type and will be used in addition to Rigby & Peller’s stylists, who have been trained to visibly identify bra size and most suitable shape.

The store stocks the Rigby & Peller branded collections, alongside lingerie, shapewear, sportswear, maternity, nightwear and swimwear collections from brands including Andres Sarda, Marie Jo, Simone Perele, Prima Donna and Aubade. It will also offer French label Maison Lejaby Couture.

The made-to-measure service is a nine-step process with two separate fittings, which takes between six and eight weeks. Prices start at £305 for a bra and £865 for a basque.
