Rip Curl on a wave as European profits soar

Surf and snowboard brand Rip Curl is forecasting a turnover of EUR125 million (£84.7m) for 2007-08 for its European business, after orders for autumn 08 soared by 15%. The growth is mostly from its surfwear collection, but wetsuits and accessories also rose by 11% and 20% respectively. The firm will open its 70th store next year.
