Young fashion brand Jack & Jones, T-shirt label Amplified and cult brand Abuze London are among 25 key menswear brands that River Island is launching online this month.
It is the first time the high street chain has stocked branded clothing for men and it says it has focused on bringing in collections known for British subculture, heritage, art, music and street influences.
Alongside Jack & Jones Vintage, Jack & Jones Premium, Amplified and Abuze London, the first brands to enter River Island’s line up will be Marvel, which includes a range of jackets, sweaters and t-shirts using Marvel’s range of characters; Bloc28, which draws inspiration from murals and graffiti; young fashion brand Cheats and Thieves, launched last autumn, contemporary brand Sparks and campus brand American Freshman.
River Island intends to add further brands on a weekly basis.
The chain already stocked branded clothing for women, include Forever Unique and Pacha.
