River Island launches new campaign with Snapchat

River Island has taken to Snaphat to launch its latest campaign with a series of branded geofilters that shoppers can use in stores.

The filters, designed to highlight key brand and cultural messages, will vary throughout the three-month Snap and Share project, which aims to support River Island’s new Polaroid-inspired advertising campaign.

“When devising a plan for the launch of our new autumn/winter campaign, we wanted to explore new innovation and technology, seeking a fresh way for us to connect and engage with River Island customers,” said customer director Josie Roscop. “We decided to use Snapchat for its mass reach, popularity and ability to cut through to consumers with strong, creative content.”
