Robert Clergerie appoints new creative director

Parisian footwear brand Robert Clergerie has appointed David Tourniaire-Beauciel as creative director, following the announcement of Perry Oosting as chief executive in April.

Tourniaire-Beauciel replaces Roland Mouret, who is leaving to focus on his own label. Tourniaire-Beauciel has designed footwear for Jean-Paul Gautier, Margiela, Phoebe Philo at Chloé, Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, and Stella McCartney.

He has been head shoe designer at Maison Margiela since 2005. His first fully designed collection for Robert Clergerie will be for autumn 18.
