Robinsons of Bawtry hit by £15,000 robbery

Premium indie Robinsons of Bawtry in South Yorkshire was robbed of £15,000 worth of designer stock last week.

The retailer was broken into at 3.30am on May 27 by seven individuals who forced their way through the front door and used a car to rip a security gate off the entrance way. Registration numbers of both vehicles have been caught on CCTV.

The gang got away with £15,000 worth of stock from brands including Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Armani and Lexington.

Owners Russell and Wendy Jones and their son James are offering a £2,000 cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of anyone involved in the robbery.

This is the second incident of its kind to take place at Robinsons in recent years. In June 2013, thieves threatened staff at the store and cleared the racks of up to £10,000 worth of Ralph Lauren shirts and Armani jeans.
