Rocawear exclusive range launches in Footasylum

Rocawear, the streetwear label co-founded by hip-hop artist Jay-Z, has created an exclusive seven-piece monochrome collection for Footasylum.

The collection, which will be stocked in 25 Footasylum stores across the UK, includes a baseball shirt, a basketball vest and a zipped jacket available in black or white. All products feature new ‘Carter4’ branding and a tailored fit suited to the European market.

Daisy Laramy-Binks, head of marketing at Iconix Europe, the Europen arm of Rocawear’s parent company Iconix Brand Group USA, said the collection showed the company’s “commitment to supporting key wholesale accounts”.  She added: “It’s a major step forward for Rocawear as it continues to evolve from its more urban past towards a future focussed on original streetwear styling, whilst remaining ever true to its original music heritage and Brooklyn aesthetic.”

Jack Spellacy, buyer at FootAsylum, said the collection “transcends high end fashion and urban sports culture”.

Retail prices for the collection range from £19.95 for beanie hats to £99.95 for outerwear.

Rocawear clothing is also stocked at House of Fraser and Burton, while the brands footwear is stocked at Asos and Global Sports.
