Roderick Charles to expand

Classic menswear retailer Roderick Charles will open three more stores including a flagship in the City of London.

A 650 sq ft store will open on Fleet Street and a 450 sq ft store will open in Victoria London next month. The stores will sell made-to-measure and ready-to-wear suits as well as shirts, outerwear and accessories.

A flagship store in the City is also planned for next year. The Jermyn Street store will have a refit to extend the basement and expand the product offer.

The company has also appointed Darren Christey as operations director, who joins from Mulberry. Liona Venturini has also joined from Crombie as marketing manager.

Roderick Charles also owns casualwear brand Chukka, which sells via mail order and online. The company has six stores in London.
