Roksanda Ilincic rebrands and opens debut store

Designer label Roksanda Ilincic opened its flagship store in London this week as it rebrands to support its global expansion plans.

The store, at 9 Mount Street in Mayfair, is 2,500 sq ft in size and opened yesterday (June 10). It was designed in partnership with British architect David Adjaye.

Following the store opening, the London Fashion Week label will be rebranded Roksanda, to “convey a sophisticated simplicity that reflects the designer’s vision and strategy for future global growth”.

Eiesha Bharti Pasricha, businesswoman and daughter of telecom baron Sunil Bharti Mittal, has also joined the brand as a minority investor and will help the business’s global development and expansion.

The store will sell the brand’s clothing, bags, belts, as well as Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda shoes and Noel Stewart for Roksanda hair accessories.

The Belgrade-born designer is famous for her bold, colour-blocked designs and creates four collections each year – resort, spring/summer, pre-fall and autumn/winter, as well as swimwear and a kidswear collection called Blossom.

Her designs have been worn by the likes of Kate Middleton, Cate Blanchett and Gwyneth Paltrow.
